I am truly blessed to be working for an exceptional district that supports their new teachers immensely. Today I attended my first informational meeting and got to meet a bunch of new people who I can call my colleagues. We watched an inspirational TED Talk by Rita Pierson and I highly recommend all teachers watch it, especially those who have been in the classroom several years.

Rita Pierson's presentation is one all aspiring teachers should see. In addition, when a teacher is feeling overwhelmed by the task before them, he/she should seek revitalization by watching a "Re-Run of Rita."
